Story

Our main character, Hisora, spent his days working his blue-collar jobs every day without a moment to rest. One day, he followed a man in mourning clothes and ended up getting lost in an eerie world.

It has been about one year of Hisora searching for a way back home while staying at the Inn - the season is now summer.

While he still has not found a way back to the real world, Hisora has come to enjoy his life together with the residents of the Inn.

In the midst of these extraordinary days, an eerie shadow begins to haunt him.

Not wanting to burden anyone, Hisora does not share this with the others, and begins to live in anxiety...

This is a tale of bright, hot summer days.

Hisora either chose to stay at the Inn,
or return to the real world.

These are 8 bittersweet stories, featuring
Hisora and the boy he loves, overcoming
difficulties together.
The people who color the "Town of Nie" weave tales of the past.

Shiro's Wailings
The future, hundreds of years after "The Town of Nie" was created.
As the times progress the number of inhabitants gradually increases,
bringing with that changing in values, culture, scenery, way of life...
...Everything gradually changed.

The only constant was Kurosada, who remained in his child-like appearance, who looked with his red eyes towards a future were Shirosuke could be happy.

Kuro's Beginnings
The warring states period.
In a corner of a small village, twins with white hair and red eyes were born.
Their appearance was said to be an omen of misfortune, and as such village customs declared that they must be killed immediately.
However, their parents were unable to bring harm to their own children.

As time progress, the children named Shirosuke and Kurosada by their parents lived a poor yet happy life on the outskirts of the village, while being subject to the villagers hatred.
Until one day, their days of happiness...

This is the story of how the Landlord came to create the Town of Nie.

Komachi Fuji's Regret
Detective Komachi caught his own brother abusing his child and Komachi's nephew, Yukihira. There were no other relatives who could take Yukihira in, and Komachi was busy with his own work, not to mention he'd never raised a child before.

Despite that, looking into Yukihira's dead, distant eyes, he couldn't help but to offer - "Would you like to live together with me?"

Totonoe Utsubushi's Lingering Dreams
Totonoe grew up in a house where he was severely abused by his parents, who denied his existence for many years.
During the days of intense violence, he was finally reported and taken into protective custody.

What awaited him at the shelter was a new life in a children's facility.
Totonoe, who had not received a proper education, has to learn new common sense, human relations, studies, etc., all of which he finds troublesome.

The most troublesome of all is the boy he shares a room with, Mio.
He is always looking out for him and smiles at him, calling him “family."
Totonoe cannot help but feel uncomfortable with him.

Sata Kiyozumi's Bliss
Sata was born to a mother with poor taste in men and a father who was a workaholic.
His parents, who were only interested in themselves, had no love for their child.
For Sata, this was normal.

Then one day, his younger brother, Hisora, was born.

Then, his mother began to stay at home more often, and his father also started coming home early after work. For the first time since Sata was old enough to remember, they spent time together as a family.

But these happy days were short-lived, as his mother left the house carrying many bags.
She left behind the words, "You're his older brother, so you take care of Hisora."

He plays the role of older brother in his own way, as his mother had told him to do, but as Sata doesn't know what a proper family is, he does not know how to treat Hisora and struggles with his position as an older brother.

The tale of what happened after the main story's ending.
